Are you not based in the US or unable to relocate? I understand the tech job market is at a low point right now but there are still enough programming jobs across the entire continental US that you should be able to fill 40 hours a week applying to them + auxiliary tasks such as coordinating interviews, interview prep, working on your resume, etc. Like others have said you need to switch to employment mode, and finding a job is your full-time job |

i’m not in the US and can’t relocate right now i do apply to remote roles when i see them but haven’t had much luck. currently an OSS maintainer for a US based org but the pay isn’t enough so still looking
