The distortion is mostly a problem with ultrawide monitors, which typically have the pixel density of a regular 16:9 monitor, but with twice as width. Flat ultrawides are an especially miserable experience, where the sides of the monitor are viewed at a 60 degree angle, a pronounced deviation from the 90 degree angle in the middle. |
