I have no idea how it's marketed - if it's as a replacement for developers then yeah it's BS. I regularly use Claude code (and Claude) to write code for - throwaways data processing or visualization - connecting to an API I have some documentation for - demoing some concept I think it's great for data science and product stuff, and on those merits will be a multi-billion dollar industry. I would never let it near a real codebase. |
