Why would we when our individual efforts are eclipsed by industry and celebrities who expend more carbon in a year than we will in our lives?

Why would I consider doing anything if the main proponents do not actually act like it is truly existential crisis. That is absolutely minimizing their own emissions first in every single possible way they can.
