Modern software is actually quite good, but it depends on who the customer is. In this case, the enterprise/IT/security people “give a shit” about things like ease of rollout/management, and unfortunately they don’t care about usability/performance for the end user. At the end of the day, they’re the ones paying… I expect the software they’re paying for is actually quite good in terms of satisfying their needs. |
