Understand rules. Operate according to said rules. Bend or break rules based on calculated risks. Update mental model when rules change. One needs not like or enjoy the system they are forced to operate within to optimize for it. Change what you can, ignore what you cannot. You only have to live with it for so long. Make the best of it. |
