Hi HN,

We’ve built SimpleMarketing, a small tool that helps indie founders and makers promote their projects on Reddit without spamming.

The main idea: instead of mass-posting or buying ads, SimpleMarketing finds relevant subreddits and suggests organic ways to participate in discussions. It also helps track comments and engagement, so you don’t lose context when you’re active in multiple threads.

We made it because we’ve struggled ourselves with promoting indie products on Reddit — either you risk being banned for self-promo, or you spend hours manually checking threads. SimpleMarketing tries to solve that middle ground.

At the moment, it:

Finds relevant subreddits for your niche

Shows current discussions where you could add value

Helps you track your own comments and responses across threads

Gives light analytics about engagement

We know Reddit is tricky, so the tool is designed to help with authentic engagement, not automation spam.

You can check it out here: https://simplemarketing.tech

(Feedback very welcome!)

We’d love to hear your thoughts:

Do you see this being actually useful for indie founders?

What features would make it more valuable for you?

Thanks for reading
