Quality of non plastic straws has improved dramatically, I don't even notice they are not plastic anymore. Unless you are sucking on a drink for hours they don't disintegrate.

enjoy the paper straw coated in tasty PFAS i guess? As far as i can tell that’s the norm…

i avoid straws altogether.

Dramatically as in their ability of not melting while drinking.
