Hello, Does anyone know how long it typically takes for the Great Firewall to block a WireGuard IP/port combination? I set up a WireGuard instance on one of my VMs as a backup for a friend who’s visiting China for about a week. They already have NordVPN, but this is just an alternative in case that doesn’t work. From what I’ve read, WireGuard endpoints usually last only a few days before being blocked, but I’m wondering if anyone has recent, first-hand experience. Are we talking closer to two days, or could it last a full week? Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get an easy Android setup for Cloak + WireGuard. The devices weren’t rooted, so I couldn’t use Shadowsocks (only supported on older Android versions) or install the cloak-android APK (root required). Since this was a last-minute setup, we ended up going with plain WireGuard. |
