I mean, I don't disagree in principle but in practice I don't have years to spend waiting for the perfect job. I have decent savings so if I need to survive I can for awhile, but not forever.
Fair. To be more constructive in that case, I think you're trying to change the wrong thing. The last thing you should be changing is your personality. Look elsewhere.
