I can't verify the claim "The feed conversion ratio for chickens, the amount of grain you put in to get meat out, is 2x. That grain is incredibly cheap.". Instead I found: "2.51 kg of dietary protein is required to generate 1.00 kg of protein in a chicken carcass or saleable end product."
