Ask HN: What's a low-effort SaaS that made real money?

I'm trying to study successful small tools and micro SaaS products that require minimal coding and maintenance. Curious to hear what you've come across, even better if you've built one yourself.

Google Workspace Apps probably fit into this category. Wrote a few blog posts on them https://developerwithacat.com/blog/062025/google-workspace-m...

But it's very competitive.

What a great combo: low maintenance and high profits. I think it will be tough to find someone that will admit this for fear of competition.
True, most people won’t share their low-maintenance money makers, and I get why. But honestly, I believe that it comes down to how well you can sell and distribute your product. Everyone has their own ideas, their own judgment, and most are too busy with their own thing to worry about someone else copying them. And if someone’s already doing well with a low-maintenance tool, they’re probably not losing sleep over competition; they’re already ahead.
