Numerous officials in the current administration including prominent financiers have expressed white nationalist, Christian nationalist, authoritarian and anti-democratic views. At this point we’re willfully sticking our heads in the sand if we think this isn’t what’s going on.

Ethno-nationalism has spreading across the global north contributing to the decay of democratic and the rise of “illiberal democracy”. There are many ways to react to this. Fear, denial, touching grass - they aren’t your only options. You can try to do something about it. Even if you don’t change much, it feels good to stand up for what’s right. It feels better than fear and denial, if you ask me.
