Given that solar power is 4% of electricity generation, a 15% increase is like 0.5% percentage points in total. Roughly 30% of co2 is from electricity generation, the numbers all seem to make sense. If you replace 0.5% of things that emit carbon with non-carbon sources it reduces carbon emissions by 0.5%. |
