More people today are dying from starvation than people existed on earth 200 years ago. Celebrating our achievements in making shareholders rich is one thing, but to take credit for freeing the people. Yikes. Mark is more out of touch than seems possible.

Because there are more people. Life expectancy etc is way up.
Yeah he says stuff like that as if the vast majority of people even in his own country don't work continuously for their subsistence, to say nothing of the people in the less powerful countries his company exploits
