If you "view source", you'll see that the difference is day and night. ssi.inc is a simple html website. This Meta memo is a JS framework monster.

its a stylistic choice, it’s a statement: content is all that matters. Brutalist websites have been around for a long time.

im quite of aware of what it is. this isn't just "make a brutalist website" it is "make a website that looks like ssi when meta has multiple platforms and means to publish the same message." it is much more intentional than "lets make it look like web 1"
