I think they were talking about the Netguard app (not a part of GrapheneOS or anything) using IPinfo. GrapheneOS definitely doesn't use it. It doesn't contact any third-party APIs. Everything is well documented: https://grapheneos.org/faq#default-connections |

In both cases, they could opt to download our database locally and use it through their own API system.
