From the POV of anti-abortion folks, the idea of "oh just let other people have abortions if they want" is as silly as saying "oh just let other people have slaves / kill their infants". If you think a fetus is worthy of similar moral protection as a 2 year old of course you'd be against all abortion, in the same way you're against all toddler murder. (I don't think a fetus, especially <20 weeks or whatever, is a full moral person, but I understand those who do) |
