I'm sure some of us have had domains and have let them expire. Anything interesting at any of your old domains?

Most of them seem to not even justify the cost of ownership for squatters anymore and are free again.

All five of my former domains since 1999 are now placeholders by squatters.

I really wish the powers that be would do something about domain squatting. Any decent name is unavailable, or simply unattainable due to the high price… when most of them are sitting unused.

How might we influence those powers to do something about this? I can't imagine anyone in opposition except for those who make a living off of squatting.

This is true for one of mine. Bought it for $12.99 a couple of years ago and now GoDaddy is squatting on it, wanting about $5k
