this is a good point. i think some people are able to maintain a sense of self by way of these tools allowing for greater expression. on the flip side, we have certainly been equating humanity with business and enterprise. the acceleration is a crucial change. but it's not about villainizing AI. and yes, one can certainly maintain humanity outside of work. but the issue i see is a loss of humanity in the sense of productivity and purpose. feeling like a machine can do everything. feeling that being human is a weakness rather than a strength. |
