In 5 years, Tailwind will be old and ugly and there will be a new hotness that everyone will crow "solves" styling, and everyone will argue about it and burn $$$ on reimplementing projects with it. And in 5 years, I'll still be doing CSS, not slowed down one bit. My old projects will still work. My new projects will get out the door on time and budget. And the new front-end devs who met me during a back-end discussion meeting will continue to assume I don't know anything about front- end and will still pressure me to switch. And my team will still be called in to clean up after them when they fail to deliver. |
