Wanna bet they will vote again for the same kind of politics? There is no shift in republican or conservative politics or decision making visible. The policies are "unpopular" among those personally affected, but they still blame Biden for that.

I dont know why there is this need to knee jerk excuse replican politicians and voters, trying to cast them sane or seeking rational goal or having moral anger over stuff that literally does not bother then in the slightest.

They wanted this and they are happy it is happening. They will continue so until they themselves are hurt a lot ... and then they will blame democrats.

Obviously, that is hard to say for sure from issue polls this far from any election, and many of them do, indeed, just vote Republican no matter what.

But the fact that these actions and policies are unpopular, even among Republicans (no matter what Mr. BubbleTime up there wants to believe), when Trump's acts during his first term were much less so, does suggest that there are some lines that many of them do not want to cross. (Even if those lines may be only in opinion, not in action.)
