I have the sinking feeling that you upvoters are actually upvoting the content of these quotes rather than my intention in quoting them, which was to highlight their absurdity. ;)

It seems your sinking feeling has been confirmed to be true. I'm in the camp that upvoted and am now confused why you're find the concepts absurd. I doubt this is your first encounter with a frank presentation of leftist thought, so it is the popularity that gives you the sinking feeling, or something about the ideology itself?
