This is one of the reasons it's fascinating to me. We often talk about Mars but Venus is truly our sister planet. But it turns out she's a raging hellhole, the sulfurous evil twin of our lovely planet. Crazy stuff. The fact that - as the other comment mentions - life could potentially survive in the atmosphere is incredible too. |
