with older HDMI/DVI displays, AFAIK you sync pixel clock to "address generator" for the matrix, with major issue becoming scaler AFAIK. DVI (and thus older HDMI) being essentially "VGA that skipped Digital to Analog conversion" you're riding the beam, including porches. |
