Not at all. I'm an attorney. Fast law is bad law. If you're using LLMs (stop calling it AI ffs -- only morons parrot the marketing hype) to do law, you're just asking toget slapped sooner or later. Researchers have called much less intelligent things AI since 1956.

Before there were GPTs, there were RNNs and CNNs. AI is the field of study.

Oh, my mistake. Lying is fine as long as other people are doing it.

Good logic.

I rarely call it AI myself and for similar reasons.

The LLM models are something. To me they look like knowledge holograms. Or maybe just a huge pattern inference machine.

And they are ODD. Like a fragment of smarts. Dangerous and for sure not something we can rely on.

It’s not lying.

It’s a term with historic precedence.

It’s an aspiration to mechanize thought.

Are we there yet? It’s a continuum.
