It's not the work itself that is exhausting: it's socializing at work. This comments deeply resonates with me because that's exactly how I feel. When I'm wfh I have to put an alarm to remember to stop working because I'm in the flow and can work for +14h without feeling tired.
Whereas, when I'm the office, I have to take a walk mid-day because I'm already exhausted by the socializing. And to be clear, it's not that I don't enjoy socializing at work, it's just that it drains me quickly. |
