It's odd they don't give you a window manager and just pigeon hole you into a modal UI.

Why am I using a window manager or modal UI? We have the perfect technology for 90% of what a car UI does: Buttons.

For navigation, the map view is fine on a tablet-like device, but nobody can resist adding distractions to it.
