Upvoted. USAID has been misused plenty: political meddling in Bangladesh, Cuba's ZunZuneo op, boomerang aid in Haiti, Afghan contractor enrichment, etc. I could go on. But understand: the soft power isn't going away, just the doctors, food shipments, and vaccines. |
