Same moderation dodging system is active on Reddit.

Some sort of story, and OMG I couldn't believe it but <other user>'s system worked and <some sort of success measurement, made X dollars or such>.

The main page with all the scam info is just the "other user"'s profile page, they post a thread to their profile with the scam info. The user profile pages are rarely moderated it seems and thus the scam can stay up while a plethora of other accounts direct people to them.
