Claude Sonnet 4 is pretty good for programming stuff, albeit pretty expensive. It's also good for other things as well. I like using it as a conversational partner when developing the systems architecture whenever I'm working on something new. Gemini 2.5 is pretty cheap and has a huge context window, although not as good as Claude for programming. For that reason I would suggest to use is through the API if you're building a product that has an LLM step. |
