You might have missed the point of Simon's test? An AI drawing a picture of a pelican on a bicycle has been a solved problem since some time between Stable Diffusion 2/3. Using SVG rather than a pixel-based format is where the challenge lives because it requires a certain amount of reasoning to get the SVG correct.

Sure, it’s not the same test. But at any rate, the Qwen image generator didn’t solve it. I tried ChatGPT and it did better.
