It will only be an option if it's a losing strategy, and Tesla thinks they can sell additional cars to morons who think they can rent them out for a profit, when Tesla knows they can't do it themselves. If it's a winning strategy and Tesla can make money from it, Tesla will keep all the profits for themselves. |
