Wrong or not, it's a danger for Apple when this sort of thing starts popping up in the media. It wouldn't take much for a "Apple have taken a wrong turn, and have left themselves unable to participate in the race for AI" narrative to take hold. If that happened, it would severely damage their position at the premium end of the market. |
