Nice take. It’s indeed very difficult to build the entire infrastructure around this, nice that you open-sourced it

Recall is pretty good, but it’s clearly the number one out there and is kind of “taking advantage” of that

I’ve noticed some other APIs popping up that aren’t open source but are more affordable and reliable, like Skribby (meeting bot API) and MeetingBaaS.

Agreed, it's gotten better since I started working on this 6 months ago. At that time, it was only Recall and MeetingBaaS and the latter didn't work when I tried to use it.

I expect Recall to open up a bit more, since a much larger company (Nylas) is moving into their turf: https://www.nylas.com/products/notetaker-api/
