And a lot of them cannot get up to speed, even when they want to. Many big corporations struggle with evolution and innovation due to crippling bureaucracy, created and supported by risk averse leadership. This is usually worse for publicly traded companies. Unless it is something like Meta, then they have a Zuck, someone smart, with enough oversight and power, who can drain the swamp and make the whole machine move. |
