I rather suspect that the pendulum will swing rather strongly towards more verbose and explicit languages in general in the upcoming years solely because it makes things easier for AI. (Note that this is orthogonal to whether and to what extent use of AI for coding is a good idea. Even if you believe that it's not, the fact is that many devs believe otherwise, and so languages will strive to accommodate them.) |
