Median salary of a reasonable developer is about 1/2th of that and if you are talking about Microsoft, Uber, Google etc., then that’s the salary of a senior dev. https://www.levels.fyi/t/software-engineer/locations/greater... But more importantly, we’re all pretending, the only cost of building anything is salaries. A company that size could blow a million dollars a month just on AWS, and the AI stuff is waaaay more expensive. |
