Most probably those other projects haven't been at #1 on HN or similar sites for long. I agree that having discussion get consumed by the name is unfortunate and off-topic. It's also predictable, alas (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=44161041) but we have various tricks to try to dampen it. |
