Excellent article. Reminds me of a CCC talk in the early 2000s where an enthusiast checked ATMs of different banks across Germany and most where running unpatched Windows 98 (I think). If my memory is correct it was also very easy to get physical access. I believe removing a couple of normal screws got you to an ethernet port or something similar. |
