Why are these researchers allowed to keep their data private for their future benefit? The data generated here should be part of the public domain. --- How about at the Library of Congress or National Archives? Just create a `nih-GR12345-2025-05-31.torrent` for all the data which would offer lots of benefits: - small network traffic for LOC/NA to seed
- American-skin-in-the-game to share the publicly funded data
