When I tried Threads for a bit I was getting almost entirely this kind of content (not just about EVs but these kind of inaccurate concern-trolling bad-takes about renewable energy etc. also) - I think its algorithm was targeting me with it because it was trying to rage-bait me into responding because that's "engagement". Used to see a bit of it on Twitter before it went downhill under Musk and I abandoned it, but its algorithm used to be better at keeping that kind of stuff mostly siloed so mostly people who wanted to see it would. |
