Enforcement in my area has recently deployed camera sinto work zones, and dispatch automated tickets to any drivers exceeding the work zone-reduced speed limit. The cameras are there every day, regardless of whether or not anyone is working, pushing out tickets. I paid $90 + fees for speeding past it, opposite the median, on a weekend, and paying is easier than arguing. I can’t imagine how lucrative this is. It’s like the opposite of a cops salary.
