I mean, this is only temporary. Also, I wouldn't imagine a thing like that holding up in court.

I can't see the whole situation "holding up in court", given things like the freedom of speech and association mentioned in the US 1st Amendment, the idea of executive overreach, various discrimination laws, ...

Absolute monarchy is not how the US is set up.
