It depends on how much you use, sure. But the point is a lot of people aren't willing to get subscriptions but still wants to use new apps - maybe just once or twice to try things out. For these people who use apps once in a while, it's cheaper to pay for only what they use. Not only that, but subscriptions are going to kill startups. 33% of consumers wont get a new subscription unless they cancel an existing one. Literally the definition of a zero-sum game as this number is increasing, but the new apps that come into market every single day are defaulting to subscriptions... |
