I don't think any of the negativity is about whether MCP works. It's just about whether MCP is a horribly ill-planned design that could have been much better if they'd taken the time to learn from the 50 years of experience we have as an industry in building protocols. That it works is in some ways worse because it means we'll be stuck with it. If it didn't work we'd be more likely to be able to throw it away and start over. |
