The article fails to explain the context in which the term “consensus” is being used here. In case others might be wondering, too: - By “consensus,” the article supposedly means “the majority agrees that there’s a market for the particular thing the company is doing.” - By “non-consensus,” it means that the company itself thinks it’s onto something but the majority disagrees.
