Wow. This sounds to me like someone saying,"Don't make flashcards to learn a language, just remember the words!" Flashcards help. They aren't a substitute for learning the language, but flashcards definitely help. Pictures help me remember many, many things! There were quite a few odd things said in this article, and they all seem, for the most part, like a Ted talk: a lot of flash, but very little substance, especially when reality has to be taken into account. |
