Those do not care about telling some 1and1 employee their passwords because they think it is safe to do so. 1and1 is a great hosting company for someone who just needs a website. Nothing more. No Dns handling, passwords over the phone. Great advice has already been given: Leave them and make sure your account is terminated. And I mean really terminated.
