The one I was a part of wasn't VC-backed, but yes, I've quit due to bad cofounder fit. No equity, no payout, just straight up left for my own sanity. It was my idea, too, and I was the only technical cofounder. It's a nightmare to be stuck in that situation, and it's not worth it imo. I've known other founders who have done the same, including founders of VC-backed companies. |
